I grew up in Minneapolis, moving to Santa Monica at age 15 and later attending UC Berkeley, where I graduated with a degree in English. I lived in Santa Cruz for years before taking a job as a technology writer in Silicon Valley. I’m fascinated by science, and have recently tried merging
some of these new advances and insights into my fiction. When one of my short stories was optioned by a film company, I started writing screenplays and have been fortunate enough to see one become a feature film, with several others currently optioned.
