Conversations overheard in airports are of two types: the ones you try to recall and the ones you pray to forget.
The gorgeous always-willing Kathryn is on a pilgrimage of sorts with the ashes of her longtime lover. Knowing that she was the agent of that man’s death she is now carrying his ashes to their destinations, compelled to tell her tale along the way.
This time Kathryn chooses a wedding guest at an airport bar who sits captivated … aroused, amused, anxious. After she favors him for staying with her and listening for so long, she departs for her boarding gate, the sound of her stilettoes fading. His memories of her tale refuse to fade no matter how hard he prays.
