Second Chance Cinderella – Sharon Kleve

Second Chance Cinderella is story three in the new romance series, Cinderella Body Club. A timeless Cinderella story reimagined where four girlfriends make a wish on a magic locket. They all wish they are beautiful, confident, and able to find their Prince Charming.

Raven St. James is a Phlebotomist in a prominent Portland, Oregon hospital. She is petite, with jet-back hair, green eyes, and extremely shy. She dreams of being like the nurses on the daytime hospital shows—perfect. Tall, blond, blue eyed, with big breasts.

Dr. Quinn Taylor admires Raven’s skill, and the caring she shows with her patients, but can’t get her attention. Until the day she winks at him.

Raven only has 24 hours in her Cinderella body. What will she do with it? Will she become the confident, strong, flirty girl she wants to be? Will she get the guy she’s always wanted? Quinn.

Love on Ice – Lauren Marie

Kate Beck once was a nationally recognized figure skater. Eight years ago, on the brink of being one of the top three skaters in the United States, her dreams came crashing down at the hands of her coach and her mother. She walked away and has hidden from her mother ever since. Moving from place to place, she gets off a bus in Canon City, finds a job and settles in for the winter. She’s been lonely and dreams that one day she’ll meet a man, have a family and be able to stay in one place. It’s been eight years of running. She hopes her mother has given up the search for her.

Jay Hager grew up in Canon City. He once was an ice hockey player who got picked up by the NHL and played briefly for a junior team. At nineteen years of age, he blew his knee out and his career was at an end. He returned to Canon and bought a dilapidated skating rink. His business has done very well. He notices a beautiful strawberry blonde sits every weekend in the bleachers at the rink and she watches the skating classes and his pee-wee hockey team practice. He would like to get to know her, but finds a mystery around her.

Will Kate stay long enough to find love or let her past fears overwhelm all the good emotions she feels for Jay? Will her mother find her and tear her new world apart?

The Spirit Path – Tammy Tate

“Where did I come up with the idea for The Spirit Path?” you ask. That’s easy.

A palomino horse named “Ben” and a Rottweiler named “Cash” inspired me. After years of horseback riding over acres of undeveloped Texas terrain it sparked my imagination. Did Native American’s ride their horses down these same trails? What was it like back then? Would someone in the twentieth century be able to survive in 1800? Ideas exploded inside my head of danger, suspense and above all romance.

I enrolled in a Journalism/Short Story class and after hours of research, The Spirit Path emerged. Native American history truly fascinated me. I even sprinkled Sioux dialect throughout my manuscripts. Writing became a passion. It stood to reason my genre of choice would be time travel, romance. As time passed, characters that I literally breathed life into refused to go away. Nicole and Flaming Arrow lived century’s apart. They were restless. It was up to me to unite them once more.

With the help of my magnificent publisher, The Spirit Path has evolved into a three part series. Book 1 and 2 are available through BooksToGoNow.com and Amazon. Book 3 is near completion. Telling the story has been the easy part. The hard part, will be to let them go…

Keeping Your Teens Safe

By Angela Ford (Best Seller in Amazon’s Women’s Action & Adventure Fiction – FBI Internet Safety Series – Closure & Forbidden)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
‘The Scary Facts’
– 50% of teens communicate online with someone they’ve never met
– 30% of teenage girls are sexually solicited in chat rooms
– 77% of children targeted by Internet predators are 14 or older
– 64% of teens do things online they don’t want their parents to know
– 60% of teens have received an email/instant message from a stranger and half have communicated
We cannot always monitor and control our children online. But there are things you can do to feel confident about keeping your kids safe online and encourage the good things the Internet has to offer. Here are a few tips I found:
•Be aware – Get to know where your teen is most active on social media, what they talk about online and how much time they spend on the Internet. This doesn’t mean that you have to approve every post or sit with your teen as she or he uses the Internet. Just check-in every once in a while.
•Be honest – Set expectations – Tell your teen that you’re checking in. Once he or she is aware that you keep tabs for safety reasons, your teen might be less likely to visit dangerous sites, or post risky content online. This gives you an opportunity to be open about what you consider safe – and dangerous – Internet usage.
•Communicate – Join your teen online. Even though it might be a difficult conversation to have, start a dialogue with your teen about risky teen behaviors. Applaud good online behavior. When teens use the Internet properly, let them know! Validation from you will help your teen stay on track and continue to behave safely online.
Valentine Romance Reviewed at Night Owl Reviews
Score: 4.50 / 5 – Reviewer Top Pick
Valentine Romance: The Best Short Story Romances is a collection from four best-selling authors all giving the reader their spin on Valentine’s Day romance. The stories range from jalapeño hot New Adult romance, Just in Time, Valentine, to sweet and light contemporary Valentine Promise, to romantic suspense, Surrender, and finally, chic-lit Love Potion Number 10.
I love the diversity in this group of stories. There is such a wide selection of well written characters and plots that held my attention. It’s difficult to find fault with this anthology. It features something for every reader.
Just in time, Valentine
Anissa Blake is about to embark on a brand new life. She has a new business, is nominated for a volunteer of the year award, and has a great boyfriend named Gabriel Santos, she’s crazy about, and he loves her the same! He also happens to be handsome, with a heart of gold, and a doctor! What could possibly go wrong?
Gabriel manages to finally tell Anissa he plans to transfer his residency to Florida, nearly one thousand miles away. There is hope for their relationship, but is Anissa willing to take the risk that will change her life forever?
My hands-down favorite of the series. I have read Natalie-Nicole Bates and she never runs out of ways to twist and surprise. This time with a New Adult contemporary. Gabriel Santos is the perfect Valentine’s Day gift. Well written, and very spicy.
Valentine Promise
Corny Myers is a pet detective with a special gift — she can talk to animals. Her recently deceased boss appears in a dream to let Corny know that he was murdered…and by whom! Corny now leaps into action to trap and expose the killer.
Valentine Promise is book five of the Corny Myers series. It features Corny, her boyfriend, and Pete the ferret. The story is light, sweet and short. An easy read for Valentine’s Day that will make you happy.
Surrender
Lauren Reynolds has recently lost her husband. One day an FBI agent, Brett Donovan, knocks on her door and to her surprise, informs her that her husband’s death is the direct result of her husband’s association with a drug cartel, and that she may be the next target!
Together they go on the run.
Besides running and hiding, an undeniable attraction begins between them. When they give in to their feelings, will there be more after their adventure ends, or will they go their separate ways?
Surrender is a well written romantic suspense. Not my cup of tea for Valentine’s Day, but a well-crafted story by a talented author.
Love Potion Number Ten
Valentine’s Day is fast approaching and Everett Benedet hopes to make her boss fall head over heels in love with her. She sees an advertisement for a love potion, and figures, why not give it a try? But confusion reigns when Everett finds herself on a date with co-worker, Royce. All of the sudden, she starts to see how attractive Royce is, and wonders if she gave the love potion to the right man.
A great little story that simply screams Valentine’s Day! It’s sweet, it’s tender, it kept a smile on my face.
Happy reading,
CateyBlair
REVIEW TEXT:
Successful doctor Becca arrives in Vinegrove after finding her best friend in bed with her boyfriend. Besides that, the big city life has lost some of its shine. She is enthralled with her new life, and not looking for a new man, or a new entanglement, only new friends.
Becca meets a group of ladies who have formed a book club, with lots of wine and gossip. The club has come up with a ‘love list’. In short, they make a list of the local, eligible men, and put their names into a hat. The man you choose, is the man you must ask for a date.
Becca choose Chase, a fire fighter, who is good looking, charming, and somewhat of a play boy. He also has some deep rooted issues from his past. As their relationship builds in a direction neither expected, Becca will have to deal with Chase inevitably finding out he was part of a silly game.
Blind Tasting is Book #3 of The Love List series. It is functions as a standalone as well. Wonderful writing and an interesting premise, with delightful, memorable characters in this sweet story. It is defiantly worth reading, and I would certainly read the earlier books in the series. If I had one criticism, and it is a small one, is I cringe at people whose entertainment could be at the expense of another person’s feelings. I wouldn’t want to imagine what that would feel like.
REVIEW TEXT:
Anissa Blake is about to leave behind her stifling, old job at a hospital, and embark on a new business of her own. What she will miss is the person who every morning leaves hearts drawn in the condensation of a train window. She doesn’t know who the person is, or if the hearts are even meant for her.
Then one morning, she seems him – exotically handsome with a blinding smile. Anissa is immediately in love! When Fate intervenes, and her mystery man leaves behind his phone on the train, she takes the opportunity to chase him down.
What’s next is magical. She finds out that her mystery man is actually a neurosurgery resident, originally from Brazil, named Gabriel Santos. He is not only smart, handsome, and successful, he wants everything in life she does.
After they dive headlong into a fairytale romance, Gabriel drops a bomb – He is transferring his residency to a hospital over one thousand miles away.
Anissa’s emotions run the gamut of anger, sorrow, complete loss, and finally a sort of acceptance. But she does have a choice – she can either walk away from the person who may be the love of her life, or go with him. If she leaves, she not only faces life in a new, unknown place, but she leaves behind her family, including her disabled twin.
Just in Time, Valentine provides the reader with a perfect romance with a life altering twist. Do you choose family over love, and do you sacrifice the only life you’ve event known, so the person you love can fulfill their destiny? A very deep, interesting conflict inside a bright and bubbly kind of story. A perfect hero, and a slightly imperfect heroine, make a great combination for this sexy, yet sweet novella. Not to mention there is a friendly wager between the couple, whose outcome on Valentine’s Day might very well influence their entire future together. A definite winner a reader looking for delightfully different romance.
FIVE STAR REVIEW
5.0 out of 5 stars A Lovable Story!
By Debby Lee
I loved this heartwarming Christmas story.
Josey was a workaholic who spent all her spare time at the office in order to cope with the tragic loss of her parents and being jilted by her fiance. I really felt for her.
Clint was a handsome veterinarian Josey met at an animal rescue event who helped her buy a large slobbering dog named Cookie. Clint handled the animals with professionalism, sincerity, and great care.
The two Morning Dove’s in the story, Harry and Beatrice, were desperate to see Josey and Clint get together in time for Christmas.
If you enjoy sweet plots, whimsical animal themes, and stories that make you go “aaawww” this one’s for you.
Highly entertaining, highly recommended!
BLURB:
In the blink of an eye, Josey lost the most important people in her life, her parents.
Can a hound dog named Cookie, a pair of mourning doves, and a passionate vet bring the holiday spirit back to Josey’s life in time for Christmas?
EXCERPT:
As I stared at the pathetic dog in his diaper, I realized no one wanted the dog, they were just gawking at him. The sign said his name was Cookie, part Basset Hound and part Redbone Coonhound. I didn’t know anything about either breed. I did know he was very large and he was slobbering everywhere and he should have a diaper around his neck. I turned to continue my search and a felt a tug on my pant leg. I looked down and Cookie had a hold of my jeans. When our eyes met, Cookie’s eyes twinkled, just like Clint’s.
A glob of drool hit the top of my shoe. He let go of my pant leg and licked the goo off my shoe. I wanted to say, “gross,” but instead I said, “thank you.” I was hooked. His fur was a reddish brown and soft as silk. Not caring about drool or dog hair, I sat down on the floor next to Cookie, wrapped my arms around his neck, and finally felt at peace.
Another glob of drool hit the floor next to my butt. He looked sad, like that was a deal breaker and I’d leave him behind. I looked Cookie in his sad eyes and laughed. He pulled back his goofy lips and smiled back.
That’s when I heard Clint’s voice, “Well Josey, it looks like you found your soul mate.”
He laughed, but not at my expense.
Love Found Me, Book 2 of the Love List Series
91oh-QRQwdL__SL1500_
 http://www.examiner.com/article/why-i-write-about-animals
For The Love Of Animals!
I’m asked on a regular basis why I have some sort of animal in every one of my books. It is simple…I love animals and I love writing about them. It doesn’t matter what kind, shape, or size. I love them all!
Throughout my life I’ve had dogs, birds, frogs, lizards, rabbits and of course precious cats. My husband and I have a dozen bird feeders, two water fountains and multiple yard-art fixtures that we put food and water in for the critters.
Several years ago our cat of fifteen years passed away and we were going to wait awhile before getting another one but as the days went on we missed having a cat. It was during the winter so there weren’t any kittens available. I searched all the shelters and saw pictures of an eight-month-old female, shorthair cat.
When we picked up Ardy from the Bremerton, WA PAWS, they said we’d never be able to pick her up or touch her. She’d been abused. My husband played with her and instantly fell in love. We took her home and after many months of special care, she loves to be held. We laugh because she likes it so much she won’t let you put her down.
All animals deserve a little time, patience and a good loving home.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Sharon Kleve’s latest release, Love Found Me, is a romatic tale of animla lovers, not looking for love, but finding it anyways.

Love Found Me:

When it’s Chloe Miles turn to pick a name out of The Love List she didn’t expect to find true love. She just wanted to go on a date with a nice, available guy. Not one who drank too much, or was unemployed and wanted to stay that way. Or especially one who didn’t know what monogamy means.

Mitch Brodin didn’t know his heart was in the hands of The Love List. His Fate was set the moment he set foot into Roy’s Pet Rescues looking for advice on how to care for new born kittens.

Chloe is vivacious, unpredictable, and tons of fun, while he is methodical, predictable, and well… cynical. He surely hadn’t planned on falling in love. But that’s what you get when you’re not looking for love.
